Privacy statement

Crolicious Corner is a small home bakery in West Auckland. This statement explains what personal information I collect, why, and what you can do about it, under the Privacy Act 2020.

What I collect

• Your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number
• Your order: box size, the mix of cakes, number of boxes, date, pickup or delivery, and delivery suburb
• Anything you tell me in the notes, such as allergies

Why I collect it

Only to reply to your order, confirm it, bake it and get it to you. I don’t use your details for marketing unless you ask me to, and I never sell or share them.

Where it is stored

Order requests sent through this website are processed by the website host, Netlify, and forwarded to my email (hello.croliciouscorner@gmail.com), provided by Google. Both store data on servers outside New Zealand.

How long I keep it

I keep order details only as long as I need them for your order. Records of sales are kept for seven years, as Inland Revenue requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you and ask me to correct it. Just email me. If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled your information, you can contact the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
